Rights, Diversity and Per Capita Income Growth

Theory 1: Over time – if one group A has a right and another group B doesn’t. The group that doesn’t have it will get the same rights because Group B has a stronger will to want those rights and group A has a weaker will to deny those same rights. E.g. Access to all male gold clubs, sitting in front of the bus, gay marriage, right to vote, pay equality among sexes…
Theory 2: The faster a society allows Group B gets those rights, the faster the per capita growth in that society. Greater the diversity, greater the quality of ideas. The more a diverse set of groups feel a sense of equality, the more they are motivated to contribute ideas.
